To Players in the Oklahoma City area:
Here's Two Personalized Skill Development and Baseball Instruction
Programs to Improve Your Throwing and Bat Speed Skills & Put Your
Pitching and Hitting Worries to Rest
Your strength and conditioning programs prepare your body for peak
performance, but you also need proper hitting or throwing mechanics to
truly maximize your performance on the field. Now, get expert, detailed
baseball
instruction in all phases of your game. In fact, depending on your needs
and interest, we can effectively combine your skill development work
with sport-specific strength and conditioning training.
Baseball Pitching Skills Development
Pitching is perhaps the most technique sensitive
position in baseball. If you're a baseball pitcher having trouble
finding your rhythm, throwing strikes, or any other aspect of pitching,
this baseball instruction training program is for you.
"Pitching
lessons with Steve were the best thing I could ever have done for my
son. He is 10 years old and in his 4th year of playing
ball... When we first started lessons his throws were all coming
up short, especially from 3B to 1st. After 4 lessons, we added an
extra 15-20' on his throws. His coach heard he was taking lessons
so decided to try him as a pitcher. In his first game [referenced
in article above] he pitched 3 2/3 innings and got the win. The
confidence boost was amazing." Jefferson
Satterlee, Pauls Valley, OK
Together we'll focus on improving the three key
variables of pitching performance--velocity, movement, and location,
with emphasis on proper mechanics. You'll learn pitching strategy for a
wide variety of situations - pitching by the count, setting up hitters,
and situational pitching. You'll also learn how to develop pinpoint
control, and properly throw your fastball, curve, slider, and change-up.
I'll even teach you how to strengthen your throwing-arm and properly
condition your arm and body for the rigors of pitching.
"Paul has had
several good outings since we last saw you. He pitched a one hit shutout
to lead his team to a first place tournament win last weekend. He also
pitched in a 16 and under wooden bat tournament in Nevada, MO. He held
them to 4 hits and shut them out too. I am telling you this so you know
that the training skills and workouts you have showed him are working."
